With support from the Youth Employment Project (ILO/Japan), the District of Ratnapura recently undertook a new job bazaar. The event brought together a) young job seekers, b) employers and c) training providers. Some 560 youth took part.

The United Nations Population Fund, handed over medical equipment worth USD 210,000 to the Governor of the Northern Province, Major General G.A.
